Sports Love

Blog Land!  Good to see you :)

I had a little down time last week, kids and Mommy all sick, so I actually spent a little time puttin' my craft on.

Valentines is just around the corner.  Pink, red...hearts and flowers.  Not something my son thinks is the best thing since sliced bread.

Girls are becoming "icky".... for example...there were several neighborhood girls over playing with my daughter.  My son comes inside and announces, "Just kill me now.  It is ALL girls."  Stomps up to his room.  Oh, in 10 years it will be his dream come true, for now I will bask in the fact I am still his number one girl.

Sports.  Boys = sports, at least 'round these parts.

I bought the little stamp set from Papertrey Ink called Have a Ball, for $5.  FIVE bucks.  Can't beat it!  I stamped the ball images in Enchanted Evening Ink (PTI), cut them out by hand and added dimension by "popping" them off the card.  The base is New Leaf (PTI) card stock.  The heart is a punch I have and I'm too lazy to get up and go find the brand on it.  We all have a heart punch or two!

I confess.  I am a stamp cutter.  I cut my stamps apart to create words I need.  Don't judge.   The tiny "love" is from the stamp set Scattered Showers, also by PTI.

This is, for the most part, all boy.  Yes, there is a small red heart on the card. Hopefully he will survive.

Have a great day, everyone!
